Our rental is a 2013 Ford Taurus Limited (that’s top trim w/o Ecoboost). Nice car, but the all black interior with a black headliner, no sunroof, high beltline and low greenhouse make it feel like driving a cave. But the place was nearly empty when we got there due to the CWS, so we didn’t really get a choice, not that it matters.
Also, cheers to Enterprise for festooning the car with “Enterprise” stickers, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! no smoking stickers, and a few other stickers just to make it that little bit easier for thieves to know which car to break into.

To be fair, the worst thing in the world to me is headliners not matching the interior. I know I’m a touch crazy about it. but it bugs the hell out of me.

I don’t mind it as long as the contrast theme is carried over to the rest of the interior.

I hate non-matching headliners and dislike tan interiors in general.

Would you say, perhaps, a Bat Cave?

Well, I had 2 blazers before I bought my milan as DD’s.
88 - full blue interior - headliner, seats, dash, everything blue.
04 - full black interior - headliner, seats, dash everything black.
07 Mercury Milan - black interior, seats dash, carpet everything - except the headliners and pillars, which are tan.
it looks stupid and makes me angry inside. It’s a GREAT car, and it proves that by being my absolute biggest complaint about it.

Normally I like just all black interior with maybe some silver or black accents, but have you seen the ATS red and black interior? It’s magical.

YES
When ever I do car configurators I do all black and swap the wood for the brushed aluminum.
That red/black is indeed beautiful.
look at this:
more subtle, but possibly even better.
It’s the Lincoln MKZ Black Label Center Stage interior.

That does look awesome. Too bad I hate the front of the MKZ.

Well this at least shows you that Lincoln is moving in a good direction.
Maybe they’ll put something like this in the new MKS that’s due a rebuilt in the coming years.

I wish they had kept the LSs. Aunt had one of those and it was great. I also wish she had told me before she sold it for $3k with 90k miles....

She thought it was great?! I heard those broke like crazy because they were basically Jaguars. Because of that I skipped buying one! That’s why I DD a Mercury Milan V6. I sincerely looked into LS V8’s.
Also, check out this Red Leather that was available on the Fusion Titanium, which is almost as nice inside as the MKZ and crazy red leather:
(this is a bit much for me, but it’s different at least)

It’s an option. But yeah, that’s pretty dumb.
